This might be just the thing! Especially as the LR unit is hard to find and normally £500 Shocked

Sad Sorry bud but it will not Sad

Basically the Range Rover radio isn't Shocked it's a group of components that when they are all plugged together and talking make a radio, I'm not totally genned up on the MOST system but I believe that it has as many components as the BMW ibus. So you have the screen, and that is all it does, a computer monitor, there is a radio receiver with a small amp and a much larger amp, then you've the TV tuner, Nav, CD Changer and the phone module, they are all separate and only do what is said on the box............ Bluetooth will only make and receive calls as it part of the phone module, not the radio Sad

The only way around it is to fit Rear Screen Entertainment at Shocked Shocked Shocked £, or an auxiliary input adapter. And unfortunately for you bud, your car has the later MOST touch screen system which is fiber optic connection, and really limits your options, there is the LR one at stupid money, and I think it's not available any more. Or there is that one that I posted the link for, you would be advised to smurf the web to see if you can get a better deal, as that was the first one I saw, what you are looking for is an aux input for a LR MOST fiber optic system.

I'm not even sure if you can replace the whole lot with an Android system.... might be worth looking in to Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

Ripping out the whole MOST system would seem like a good idea sometimes but so much of the car's functionality comes from the screen that I would be extremely cautious about contemplating it . Some interior facelifted cars after 2006 came with an Aux input without rear entertainment so I wonder if the wiring is there somewhere in the central cuddy ? 2008 MY Supercharged

^^ the aux input is an option, the box sits above the CD changer and there is an audio / usb input in the glovebox. As far as I know there is way to connect to the system without the box of tricks Sad

If you were to think about replacing the whole lot, you could leave it all in place and move the screen into the glove box, then fit your new unit in the dash. You'd also have to connect in to the speakers in the boot cubby, not impossible, BUT, you would not have any steering wheel controls.

Personally I think that I would get a MOST interface, as I believe that the MOST system is a lot less temperamental than the BMW iBus system on the earlier cars. I did stumble on this, UK seller Thumbs Up

This should be compatible, but I'd check first!
