AC Light

My AC (the snow flake buttons illuminated red LED on left side of console - not the Auto button twirl switch in centre console) sometimes turns itself off after I have had the remote FBH on. It is not every time but about 50% of the time I get in the car - start it and notice the AC light is off. Other times it's fine.

Alternator still putting out 14+V's but is this a battery problem, electric problem with FBH or Land Rover specific added value feature!

Cheers

I've not checked the manual for the later ones, but isn't there something to do with using the residual heat from the engine to warm the car after the engine is switched off? That's what it sounds like to me.

The manual doesn't say that the AC (Snow Flake) light goes on or off depending on the residual temp.

I understand that the FBH may not fire if ambient temp and interior temps are within certain parameters but I can't find a reference to the AC being turned off in any circumstances.

The FBH has been on and the interior fans are running when I open the car and it has happened in the morning when the car has been cold.
