I'm now on the hunt for the ECU cooling fan in my 2011 4.4 TDV8, and hoping it isn't hidden away behind the battery! Can anyone give me a pointer to where it is? Still trying to trace the weird sound described here:

It's in the bottom of that big black plastic box on the left under the bonnet, it pulls cool air from inside the car via two pipes, that's why you can hear it inside... Pete

Thanks, but mine doesn't have that big box, it has a smaller fuse box with a clip-on top, and I don't think it has the depth to have an ECU underneath.
