Judging by the age of the typical (not private) 1996 reg plate of the lorry, I bet it's a mates-rates-pick-up project. If it was for slaughter, the tailgate would already be gone. As would the light grills.

Range Rover classic....Still turning heads at 25 years old.
I think it's a 3.5 judging by the low fuel flap. So maybe pushing almost 35 years old

I had an e reg 3.5 low flap, and a very early-ish g reg 3.9 high flap.

Both were Censored !

Rust, leaks, and all sorts. But they were quite old when I had them. But had some fun in them.

However the low point was after replacing the front windscreen for the new (bullet hole Mot fail) stonechip I got another stone chip from a new loose chipping road, that cracked the new screen, two days later, and then with new screen still damaged, I put in some long timbers, and fed them through to the dash to rest them, and accidentally knocked out the wooden tailgate prop, and the tailgate fell, and shoved the timber, straight thought he front screen! , and then got nicked on way home for a dangerous windscreen.
Big Cry
