Here is a pic I found online of the early cars autobiography brochure. The screens are in the top half of the seat back, not the headrests.

I'm sure I've seen a better picture somewhere.....

So I'd say yours are aftermarket.

Ok from the top down you have:

MK3 CD based sat nav computer
DVDs auto changer
Box with the white and blue plugs is the analogue to tuner and video module
Unit in front of that is the BM53 (Land Rover version of the BMW BM54 radio module)
The black unit at the rear is the DSP amplifier
The long thin silver unit is the telephone module
The 2 thin units at the bottom are the control input modules for the alpine screens

This is pretty much the exact same setup I originally had fitted in my car.

Yes Alpine screens are definitely aftermarket fit.
