Agreed this is poor, especially at that price, but maybe it accounts for your discount. One would have thought they could have dealt with the overspray on the windows and trims at least. There have been threads on here about 405s being damaged in transit, perhaps that is what happened to yours.

This happens far more than people think, lots and lots of new cars get damaged at some point between manufacture and delivery... Most owners will never know....

A mate of mine works in the quality section at Bentley. The stories he tells me bout what they have to do to some 'new' cars before hand-over beggars belief. As said, in most cases the punter does not know.

bear in all honesty if your detailer is good he should be able to clear off all over spray and make it near perfect, then i would not worry.

What worries me a bit is the over spray is on the hydrophobic Windows and trim, well the trim can be replaced but what will happen to the window? Is it a coating? 2010 defender utility
