No definitive answer as there are a multitude of things which will cause a clonk from the front, from worn drop links, through missing washers to worn ball joint, bushes etc... you can even get a clonk that sounds like it's from the front but actually comes from worn bushes at the rear.. I doubt an engine mount would knock unless it's very worn out but you never know...!!! Pete

No , I can remember a few owners complaining of strange clunks etc. Like most of them i changed most everything and still no success !. Had it on the shaker plates at work (im an MOT tester ). Nothing showed up!. So decided to live with it until Summer arrives again, just turn radio up ! |
