Good evening can any body tell me how to adjust the fit of the rear upper tailgate on a 2004 as when I press the tailgate release button on the key it makes a loud clicking noise as if it is not releasing cheers

There isn't a whole heap of adjustment in it, plastic lugs in the top of the boot lid locate in key ways in the spoiler. Then when It's in the correct position it bolts through.

You get to the fixings by removing the upper tailgate trim round the washwipe motor, carefully pull it off then you should see some 10mm bolt heads, undo these then the spoiler will pull rearward and then lift up. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
