At least I presume it's transmission....

On a cold start, when I select D, there is a noticeable and quite uncomfortable judder when moving away or coming to a halt. As the engine warms, the vibration disappears. All fine in neutral or park. It's just done 1200 fault free miles up and down France since last week (epic car) and no other issues.

The specialist had it on a tester before we left and couldn't find a thing. Any ideas, please?

2007 TDV8, 62000 miles, standard map and inspection/MoT the week before last. The transmission fluid hasn't been changed so I suspect that's my first port of call....

Dr tranny does work or at least it did for me and instantly, but if you are anywhere near 75,000 miles on the clock much better to have a full flush.

As above, swap out the gearbox oil and see if it makes a difference. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
