security...

Hi Guy's,

Just about to place my order and I am wondering about security... (recent press).

My car will be parked on my drive (converted the garage) I have CCTV already (not much use I know) and I am thinking of a Disklok and a OBD lock of some sort just to make it more difficult if someone wants to nab it...

Is there anything else I can do to protect the car that wouldn't void the warranty???

Cheers

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Santorini Black

I am trading in my L322 3.6 Vogue for an L405 TDV6 Vogue on Monday and when I rang to organise the insurance was amazed to get a refund! Clearly my insurers are not too worried about the risk of theft of the L405. And they give GAP cover for two years on the new car as part of the cover.

Refund Shocked how can that work out ?

I've given up trying to predict insurance - my son passed his test last week, so insurance went up £405 - makes sense as he's now driving solo & doesn't have a responsible adult next to him.

Then I asked if I could also add my daughter who has just tuned 17 and will be starting to drive - that will be £390 then.

So £15 cheaper if I add another learner driver Confused

That's good news.

NFU quoted me just over £450 for the new L405, again they offer 2 years new for old cover Thumbs Up could get cheaper through likes of Admiral but they only cover market value Exclamation so will stick with NFU who I have found in the event of a claim are very good Embarassed Paul
L405 now sold

My wife prefers the bed... Laughing

Cheers guy's, for some reason because I am buying outright, I have squeaky bum time about it getting stolen. I'm sure that will pass.
