Hi all I thought I would tell you all that if you towing a Caravan or trailer with LED lights your Range Rover will properly not know you have connected a Cavan or trailer if it is fitted with LED lights
You will know this as the car will not ask in the info screen have you connected a trailer etc,
Plus when turning the dash will not flash a picture of a green trailer.
This means the LED lights on your trailer, or carvan dont draw enough current to let the car know it is connected.
This will means your car is not set up for safety items like sway control
emergency braking with the trailer
or transmition shifting with the trailer.
To solve this I have just fitted a great product

I hope this helps out with your pride and joy and stay safe towing.

All you need is a few 50 ohh resistors like these

Put them in parallel between each light circuit & ground & you're done

Yes you are absolutely right the resistors will do the trick.
However I have fitted this shunt resistor module as it is just plug and play with your trailer or caravan.
As I do not have the tooling, time or training to mess with my cars wiring or the trailers wiring
Simples !

I've just had a tow bar fitted by the local Land Rover dealer and it works fine with my led lit caravan. The green indicator dash light works as designed
