Slow response

As of lately i've been experiencing a strange issue with my car. Let's see if i can describe it...

When im driving at a constance pace, with very little throttle opening, when I want to increase speed the car seems to be out of power. Meaning I press a little on the throttle and no real progress, then a little more and still nothing, then a little more and nothing, then all of a sudden, kick down and the car fires away as it should. It seems like the engine is chocked.

The way it feels is a bit like having the car on the ''grass, gravel, snow'' mode, were the first part of throttle opening is dead.

Ideas, anyone?

Mine did that when the throttle pedal packed up, it defaulted to either 0% 30% or 70% depending on your foot... If you have an IID or similar you can check the live values (with the engine off) to see if it does 1% to 100%...

It took some time for the FF to realise something was wrong and put up a code, but it didn't put the MIL on...

Dare say there are another few hundred reasons though.... Pete

Problem detected.
The are some valves which control the flow of air into the intakes. When out of throttle, it closes the port and the car has no air coming into the engine.

As its one of those ''whole part must be bought'', the mech will try to clean it, and make it work.

So, big F*Ēk
