RRS "dated... slipping down the ranks"

"With the arrival of the brilliant new Volvo XC90 and Audi Q7 in the past six months, the SUV market is harder fought than ever. These tweaks boost the two-tonne Range Rover Sport’s appeal, but the dated infotainment system, high price and inferior running costs mean it’s slowly slipping down the ranks. It’s still a fine car to drive, and you’ll certainly never tire of the exquisitely finished interior – yet in a competitive sector, the Sport isn’t quite the polished package it once was against such fresh opposition."

You mean 2.5 tonne. It's as heavy as the FF.

Has it got similar infotainment to the outgoing L322 models?

The Volvo seems very expensive and the Q7/ all new Audis will take some getting used to with their square lines.

Link takes us to an article about the Discovery Sport, not RR Sport...

InControl can't come soon enough.

As for the rest - Land Rover's name and reputation are a noose in this market - none of these cars are used for anything more than getting kids around, the competition have no brand baggage and can happily turn out lighter, more car-like fake off-roaders with no shame. The Sport's extra abilities are wasted on most (hence low range being an option etc.), but make it a far more desirable package to anyone who is interested in more than appearances.

Correct link now.

Not a huge fan of the old or new RRS shape. Commented months ago that the new one already seems blocky/dated/ not that handsome a car. Each to their own.
