is there anyway to visually identify if a front diff has been replaced, other than it saying it on the vehicle log book as a recall info letter from LR. If there is a visual way of identifying an old/new diff, i know i need to get under the RR and get my hands dirty, what is it was that determines it from the original.. eg a serial number etc, slight design differences. Ive checked wiki, and it says loads about the diff, but not how to determine a new from original. thanks anyone who can advise point me in right direction. Its a 2005 Vogue. cheers
