OK just had a check through MICROCAT and it looks like all previous part numbers for sensors have been superseded and now come under just one part (YDB500370LML) and only come primed and require painting.

Dragging up an old thread, sorry chaps.

Parking sensors have gone a bit flaky in the cold weather.

I THINK the problem is at the front, and can't hear the outer sensors clicking.

There is a wide variety of prices of the sensors, on ebay the new ones YDB500370LML are £35 - £40 ish, Paddocks have the old ones (YDB100070) at £17 ish.

If stevegt, and all models now call for the new sensor, is it not also true that the older sensor should also work in 2005+ vehicles?

Thoughts appreciated.

David

You miss the point.

I'm sure Dan's system will show the latest 40 quid sensor is the recommended part. I can see that myself through Microcat.

Real question is, does the earlier 17 quid sensor work?
