2005 Range Rover Vogue SE Td6 Java Black
Rear Caliper

Hi All,

I was driving today and the rear caliper went pop and I lost all brake pressure! Not the first time this has happened with the last only being 3mths ago!

Previously to this it went 9mths before but at the 2nd time they said it was the other side and charged me for it, unfortunately I had no proof or memory of which side it was!
This time it has definitely gone on the same side within 3 mths so I will make sure this is under warranty work.

Question is why it keeps on going??

Any advice? MY10 3.6 TD V8 Autobiography

Did they fit a new caliper or just replace the seals in the old one?

I'm curious how you last ALL brake pressure as I was led to believe that the firing and rear braking systems were independent, so as not to result in total brake loss in those very circumstances? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
