Tilting Mirror

Hi,

If I remember correctly, on my 06 TDV8, when I selected reverse, the mirror moved in and down.
On my 2010 SC id moves in and up..
Or am I going mad.

Cheers

If you make it move by selecting reverse with the mirror switch in the correct position, then adjust it, it will do what you want... well that's how the earlier ones work so I guess yours is the same... Pete

I think it has two memory positions, normal and parking. So put it in reverse and wait for it to tilt in and up, then adjust to where you want it. When you deselect reverse it should go to the normal position and when you reselect reverse it should remember where you had set it to.

Dear Geoff,

On your old TDV8 Laughing you have to flick the switch that changes whether you are adjusting the left or right hand mirror. If you flick it to the left hand mirror then when you select reverse the left mirror drops for the kerb.

The car is doing great by the way. The paint work is not quite as prestige as when you sold it to me as it has now seen a lot of off-road action at various SLROC and Comp Safari Events. It is perfect for what I wanted it for though. Just spent two days Setting up and Clerk of Course-ing at the most recent CCV at Kidlaw near Haddington, so approx 300 miles of road driving and all over the bestest, bumpiest, farm land in Scotland and it was superb.

I hope Abu Dhabi is being good for you and you are not missing "Sunny" Scotland too much Whistle

Geoff, all of the above relates to PRE 2009 cars! The reverse mirrors are settable from the dash display on 2009my> and is speed sensitive... The faster you reverse the further back to normal they go Thumbs Up
