Looks like it's for the early BMW ones... that plug looks like the one in the radio unit in the boot... in which case the lead isn't long enough anyway unless you want your phone in the boot...!!!

Don't take that 100% though I don't know what the later ones have behind the radio.... Thumbs Up Pete

^^ 2007 is not BMW spec radio Sad So while Pete is correct that the phone would end up in your boot, it will unfortunately not work with your car. Further more, as it is not a hands free adapter, there is no microphone, so you'll be relying on the microphone that's on the phone........... in the boot............ You would need something like this http://www.soundsecure.co.uk/index.php/pro...ooth-ipod, that one is very expensive, but it does come installed. if your planning to do the job yourself, you will have to remove the glove box, which is a bit time consuming. If you hunt around you should be able to pick up that unit for half that price, for DIY installation Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Thank you both, guess Im just being scared off by the £500 peeps keep quoting for the LR unit and labour....Ill check out that link.....dreading telling her that the expensive car we just bought wont take her iphone !!!
