This has been a huge problem with 2010MY RRSport TDv6 and TDv8 with the DPF, which is an option on UK cars up to this year when it becomes compulsory with 2011MY cars. I believe talking to several dealers that the system has now been modified and the special cleaning cycle that burns out the DPF to clean it now doesn't rely so much on driving at some stupid speed at high RPM for 50kms. I am going to be driving the 2011 4.4 all day on Wednesday next week at a Range Rover special driving day to show off the new engine and will ask then what the procedure is and get back to you 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
