Mine is running perfectly now that I've turned the TPMS system off with my new IID tool  2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

I like this thread - mine has given me no trouble at all since I got it. Warranty work on the tailgate and the brake pipe recall all completed with the minimum of fuss.

Great car - just like my last one  Geoff

Now that I've mine back from me crashing it (don't ask!), it is just a lovely place to be. Maybe I'm just sad, but I even like getting to the station a little early in the morning, so I can have a few minutes of calm before heading onto public transport!

Complete incompetence on my part - I was trying to navigate to the heated seats setting and I took my eyes off the road, decapitated a telegraph pole, and broke many, many bits on the FF, though thankfully no injuries, other than my pride. I'll get my coat now!

Well six months in and my first FFRR, zero faults and zero problems. I thought i had a mpg issue at one point but turned out to be my addled brain Could not be happier with my ajv8 ab and love wofting down the road. Had the P054 brake hose recall and found the dealer network great Sadly i miss 1200kg cars with 500hp which no FF can replace so may be forced to sell our vw to help pay for something more exciting for the odd occasion i am allowed to play or even maybe track only

TL:DR Love the FF no issues/ would like something very fast as well

6 years and 40,000 km into my ownership and for me the only real problem has been the auto gearbox, which had to be replaced 4 years ago, at 95,000 km – at horrendous expense.
Other than that, and service items oeuf Corse, I’ve replaced various rubber/plastic parts which had deteriorated under the effects of the elements (sun) down here. Lastly all the other – happily minor, niggly problems I’ve had – I’ve put down to foibles or idiosyncrasies that are part & parcel of FF ownership. It's called 'character'.
She still drives superbly and looks cracking. Everyone who rides in her and/or sees her for the first time is impressed. They find it difficult to believe she’ll soon be 11 years old – as do I, except that I know … But I’m still impressed when I look at her, and in particular when I drive her.  It's "bébéchoon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums.

Current motor: Suzuki S-Cross 4WD auto, 1.4 petrol. Oh so reliable! 7 years now and no problems. Oh, all right then, a leaking shocker replaced under guarantee.

We’ve had our first FFRR for 3 months now; some initial issues have been sorted out (headlight reflector, HVAC resistor, fixed battery drainage, fixed buzzing/vibration noise from the windscreen bottom, new tires, both EGR valves replaced, bonnet and tailgate struts), and installed deployable side steps. So we wish to keep our 07 TDV8 for many years to come, taking the upcoming issues as challenging and interesting DIY-projects, caring for it so that we can have this fantastic car for a looong time
