TD6 coolant pink or blue ?

After much searching and much confusion and much contradicting information I think Ive managed to figure out that my early 2002 TD6 takes blue coolant. (BMW)

However I have lots of pink coolant (VW G13 ethylene glycol based) to hand and was wondering if I could chuck this stuff in and not have to worry about my engine farting itself to death.

I know you cant mix them but to cut a long story short, I bought the car with a leaky radiator and nothing but water in the system so I will be starting with a clean slate. Need to get it sorted as soon as I can. Thanks. 2002 TD6 Epsom Green

I have a My02 HSE TD6 and the coolant has always been pink .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Thanks Joe90, if its good enough for you then its good enough for me. I think some people are too precious about this kind of thing anyway judging by all the threads Ive read. (believe me Ive read a Lot. Ive been working my way backwards through all the sections on here since I joined and Im almost done) 2002 TD6 Epsom Green
