IIRC JE Engineering offered this for a while but they said even the flashlube type stuff wont save the valve seat recession just decrease it and their install included a head upgrade to get rid of the issue.

I'm in for the long haul. 2003 4.4 converted at 70,000. Now on 122,000 and engine is fine . Had a flash lube system from day one. My tech has installed on just about everything, inc a bentley with the 4.4 twin turbo. He's a certified installer but the one vehicle he's yet to do is a 4.2 sc. |

The previous owner to me converted at 17k miles - I'm now at 180k (replaced the original LPG front end - injectors / vapouriser / ecu etc) around 10k ago as it was failing - no problems with the engine so far. |

I would put the LPG on, with flashlube and see how far that will take you !!

had mine converted almost 2 years ago , converter wasn't the best tbh . Very tidy work but his mapping skills were somewhat lacking.

The 5.0 is nigh on impossible to do as it's direct injection. There is one kit (Vogles I think) which runs 75% LPG and 25% petrol. Without petrol running through the injectors the tips burn out. |
