Hi Chaps,
thats my thought, dont want to drop my winter wheels off only to pick up some square things the offers were by these companies. according to Groupon they've sold 40 - 50 odd units but i cant find any feedback about them Alloy Wheel Refurbishment from £25 at Apex Motors http://gr.pn/1K0Sjmc Alloy Wheel Refurbishment from £25 at Midlands Alloy Wheel Refurbishment and Tyre Specialists (Up to 76% off) http://gr.pn/1Jx776L Alloy Wheel Refurbishment from £25 at Ride Repairs http://gr.pn/1MkLD23 i had my summer wheels done by speedys wheels in walsall. not the quickest but services was good and the wheels are well balanced. i didn't like their 'silver' as it looked plasticy like wheel trims. so went with black. if i wantedslver, i'd have had to "buy some land rover silver from a dealer" - megabucks before after Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 on Gas 1961 88" 2.25 diesel - George Gone - 1997 3.9 V8i Discovery - Burt |

I was looking at this a while back - need to get the Skoda wheels sorted as they all leak round the beads due to flaking paint.

Mine are about £60 a wheel they're charging. Seems to be the going rate for good quality finish.

A quick blowover springs to mind. There's no way you would get the same standard of work than if you paid full price. Done several groupon offers myself, one was a 3 course meal for £20, you get there and it's a special set menu, smaller portions and basic food not of the same standard as the main menu.. So echo you get what you pay for. |

I used thewheelspecialist to do my winters, was a good job, tyres off stripped and re done in dark anthracite. Was about £250 for 4 wheels all tyres fitted and balanced.
