Should the splash screen come on when the door is opened? Mine doesn't.

It does when the key is turned to position 1 but for less than a second before proceeding to the map or the menu screen.

Oddly enough, it doesn't always come on even then, it seems to get bypassed. I'll check it tonight when it's dark, perhaps I'm missing something.

Even so, it surely beats having the BMW splash!

It will be interesting to see if the new speed camera function now works. I'm pretty sure that wasn't in the old default BMW V32 firmware. Ron B. VK2OTC

yes it should appear when you first unlock the car, it will go off after a couple of seconds if you don't start the car.

The speed camera function relies on having a GPS map disc with speed camera database installed.

Ah, well. It seems the maps don't have the speed cameras.

Re the logo, it's variable as to when it comes on. Sometimnes when I unlock, other times when the key is turned in the ignition, other times, not at all. But it beats the BMW splash!  Ron B. VK2OTC
