Help car wont let me in

G'Day

Mate has a 2002 TD6,

Tried to open the door with the fob no go....key turns in the lock but doors remain locked.....

I thought a dead flat battery but we have 12.6 v at the starter (accessed from underneath)

Anybody got any thoughts on how to get into the fracking thing............

I am thinking a brick through the window is getting very tempting..........

Check there is no RF interference nearby, as this can knock out the fob. Power lines radio control units, transmitters etc.

If the key doesn't operate the lock it sounds like the mechanism for that part may be scoobied. Other than that you question is how can I brake into a FF, which might not be the best thing to answer on an open forum👍

Apparently there are ways, but I don't know the details. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Presuming the car could be opened with the fob before I would suggest being patient and keep trying.
As above it may be RF interference which may go away.
When you do get it open you need to get your mate to sort the manual locking pronto. Thumbs Up

I am cold hungry and downright urinated off with this fracking FF

No no Rf interference, its parked in his drive way blocking his cooks car in not happy jan...

had two locksmiths out waste of time they could't open it....NRMA (like the AA) they could't

get in either.............

feel free to PM me with any suggestions, as we'v given up for the night to cold and dark outside

so it will be a brick through the window tomorrow if I cant find another solution Oh Joy.....not
