Indeed, recently retired Dr next door has a BMW X5 and a BMW convertible. Never done more than chuck a bucket of water over them in all the years of ownership and was complaining to me how shabby they looked compared to my 12 year old FF which is regularly valeted by myself....... |

It continually amazes me that people mention the profession of the former owner in a way that implies the car is better looked after than a member of a different profession.
