I would go for a VSE rather than a Westminster. Any I've seen didn't have cooled seats. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black

I think the WM spec does include climate seats (cooling and heating) at least at the front. Where the VSE is better is that it has adaptive cruise control, which was not standard on the WM. Only Range Rovers since 1988

The Wesminster does indeed have climate controlled seats in the front. It doesn't have Adaptive Cruise Control or Adaptive Xenons (lights 'turn' into corners) as standard kit. The biggest difference I would say though is that the seats are a different style to the VSE - still perforated leather, but not the semi-aniline type. The WM also comes with the Harmon Kardon 1200 watt sound system and dual view screen as standard.

Only the Westminster and the Autobigraphy were available in 2012, as the Vogue/Vogue SE versions were discontinued during the L£22 run-out period, so whilst there will be some late-registered '12 plate VSEs available, the majority will be 2011 or older.

I've just bought a WM, havng originally started out looking for a VSE to replace my old car - as much as anything because of a mistaken belief that the WM was just a repackaged Vogue. However, I struggled to find a VSE of an age/mileage that worked for me and, having actually seen the WM, I decided in the end that it was still a very well spec'd car and a very nice place to be!

Good luck with the search. 2014 3.0 SDV6 Sport HSE Corris Grey with Ebony/Cirrus

That's strange, as all the WMs I've seen for sale don't have the additional 2 controls either side of the clock for climate seats. Did they move them? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Can't explain it either - maybe it was all a dream? Wink

An excerpt from JLR press release at the time says:

"The new Range Rover Westminster Edition joins the line-up to replace the previous TDV8 Vogue and Vogue SE models. Going further than its predecessors, it comes handsomely equipped with an extensive collection of additional features that raise both the vehicle's prestige style and comfort levels for everyone on board."

"The exterior of the Westminster Edition is distinguished by the bright 'Noble' finish to the front grille and side vents, 'Titan' silver lower splitter bar and fog lamp bezels, 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels and 'Westminster' badging. Opening the doors reveals illuminated treadplates and a cabin finished with luxury carpets and Grand Black lacquer trim elements, plus bright-finished pedal finishers. The front seats feature both heating and cooling functions and the in car entertainment system benefits from a 19-speaker, 1,200W harman/kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system as well as Range Rover's innovative Dual View infotainment screen."

"Featuring the powerful yet refined 4.4-litre TDV8 engine with eight-speed automatic transmission, thenew WestminsterEdition is available in a choice of seven exterior colours, with five interior colour combinations. The standard equipment specification further includes an electric sunroof, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, Park Distance Control with rear-view camera, memory setting for the steering wheel, driver's seat and rear-view mirror and a heated, leather trimmed steering wheel." 2014 3.0 SDV6 Sport HSE Corris Grey with Ebony/Cirrus

My 2012 WM has the seat climate controls either side of the clock. I think that is the normal layout. Perhaps there was an earlier WM model and that is what you have seen? Only Range Rovers since 1988

I think I see what's happened here, pre MY10 WMs don't seem to have climate seats but later ones do...........

You may well be right. I think the Westminster name was used on a special edition in 2009, before the launch of the facelifted L322 in 2010. 2014 3.0 SDV6 Sport HSE Corris Grey with Ebony/Cirrus

It seems that way and was definitely a lower spec than the VSE Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Remember Westminsters were available to order, so not all are 'standard' spec.

Ours does have adaptive lights, chromatic mirrors etc so was specced to virtually the same as a VSE which was no longer available.
