@slow, perhaps the oilcooler wasn´t changed also, that is neccessary when you repair the gearbox, flushing is not enough, because there are always litle metalparts, which dont go out at flushing, and after 20k miles, the game began from new. know this very well. Does changing the oil cooler advice apply to all models receiving a new transmission? ______________________________

It certainly is a sensible thing to do, to ensure the cooler is doing its job - i.e. not clogged up which might have caused the problem in the first place, and also that no foreign matter from the old box makes its way into the new one.
