As above, It's to get the parking brake shoes off the inside of the disk, to allow it to be removed. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Yes, I appreciate that. It was more for the point of view if the T4/IIDTool/Diagnostic service 'mount' procedure adds anything that the wee adjustor does not.

I have an IIDTool and I didn't do anything with it when I replaced my rear disks.
