My brief Land Rover history, Hello and current RR

Hello all

Ive been on Defender Forum for some time but thought i would register here for advice, tips, sharing etc for full fat RR. I have been fortunate to been bought up with Land Rovers and Range Rover from a young age and while i dont want to bore you with every one i have owned thought i would post a few highlight plus say hello

Land Rover and Range Rovers have been in my life for a long time, and my loyalty to the brand probably defies logic, i dont think there has ever been a stage in my adult life that i have not owned something with a Land Rover badge.

This is the earliest i remember apologies for poor photo quality but it is 30 plus years ago

My grandfather had a run of classics in various chocolate browns sahara yellows etc.

There is a huge gap in photos here with other various Classics and P38s that my grandfather and dad owned

This was my first L322 and RR which i owned myself was running my fourth Defender at this stage as well. It was a 2004 Td6 Vogue which was slightly modified with Overfinch kit, exhausts etc. got rid of 22s after about 6 months and went to Vogue SE 20 inch rims

Bought this somewhere in between, a 95 Soft Dash for a bit of nostalgia purchased as a non runner, then fixed and MOTd the money these are making now could have bought myself another RR

I traded in my 2004 Td6 late last year for a 2010 4.4TdV8 couldnt quite belive the difference 6 years made here it is day i picked up from dealers

Have only added privacy glass and side steps although may make a few other subtle modifications. Another photo beside my current Defender 130 project

Welcome fella to the mad house.....we have to be mad to drive and own so many of these, I two have had many If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

2014 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Causeway Grey

noticed your SC side grills are the matte grey plastic variety. Seems some come color matched to the body from the factory. Mine are the same as yours but I've been contemplating doing something with them. My Range is white though....been thinking about going with a stock-ish silver from OEM wheels. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Yes have been meaning to post about this, my side grills are very poor qualiy and do rattle about alot in situe. Can anybody suggest suitable replacements please 2010 RR 4.4TdV8 Vogue

Not sure if OEM or not compared to vents on previous L322 they are inferior quality. Must go and have a nosey about local dealer to see what others are like 2010 RR 4.4TdV8 Vogue
