Look, You're prolly gonna get the lecture about priorities (car versus wedding) but at least it's before the event. You still have time to back out.

Sod the colour, spec, year, accessories. Just bloody buy one. Then the "upgrade" in a year's time is only an uplift to something which is already there. If you pitch up to your wedding in a Micra and then go buy a FFRR after the event, trust me, you're gonna think being pole axed is mild. It's gonna be Meat & 2 Veg for dinner.....YOURS !!

Of course, by that time she'll be used to being chauffered in a FFRR so "if" (when) she complains about the cost of the upgrade just take her for a test drive in some "money saving" old crock. The older, more rattly, smelly and generally knackered, the better. Be really enthusiastic about the old to the point where she begs you to buy the FFRR. I usually plan a day out looking at cars and then line up 3 or 4 truly nasty old snotters. The second one is where she usually decides the FF is a way better option.

No lecture, she wants a quite affair with close family and friends, around 40 guests...

Everything sorted for the wedding, all paid for.

My missus is not high maintenance, I'm the one who is high maintenance.

Range Rovers, She's not a fan of 4X4 of any sort...She would be happy me driving a fiesta and keep our savings fund topped up'd (I'm not kidding)...

But she says if that makes me happy, go get one. Easy going my missus, that's why I'm with her.

Yeah I used to. That's why this is my second marriage Yes, I was dopey enough to try it again, although this one's fine. Well, she's a petrolhead which tends to help.
