My drivers side mirror has gone a bit strange. The bottom left hand corner has gone all crazed and the middle seems to have gone all misty with double vision. I'm told tat because it has a gold tint it is auto dimming and cost a bomb! Can I replace it with an ordinary glass or should it be like for like. The passenger side seems to be ordinary clear glass.

oops! should have read the post a few below this one! Two people with the same problem on a FF? Never would have believed it!
