I have to say that it is quite useful when you want to glance at your car and see if you have locked it.

You get used to it and I must say it is better to keep those motors whirring!

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

I bought the IDD BT tool, great bit of kit and great support from GAP Diagnostic. I turned the auto fold off but there is still a strange quirk which the GAP diagnostic guy explained:

'When you set it to just "Fitted" the mirrors will not fold automatically when you lock the car. Unless, you manually fold the mirrors by pressing the R and L buttons simultaneously, then the mirrors will fold every second time the car is locked. Another manual folding operation will put it back to no automatically folding'.

He's right, it does do exactly that (although I have only one button on my 2010 car to fold both mirrors). Not sure what the underlying intent is of the software but it is what it is. 2010 5.0 SC Autobiography
