England 2015 Range Rover SVAutobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

I think a lot of MD's are trying to future proof their trade in values at present... The market for 405’s is an uncertain place with cars now leaving the dealer warranty network, which has to affect residuals! Once a few drop quickly, its expected that prices across the board will follow suit!

Would you want 10 or 20% wiped off your stock in a matter of weeks or months? & lets be honest, summer is hardly the greatest of selling times for FF’s!!!

Just my 2p’s worth Whistle

Of course not. They're in it to make money, not just to keep you happy - and they can still sell as many as they can order, so zero incentive to sweeten the deal.

Sell it privately if you want a price representative of its "true" worth (but accept that any mainstream new £100k car isn't a sensible place to store value).

Too Much.

My L405 experience. Paid £96k eighteen months ago. Now looking for update with dealer who has suggested £60k for trade in. Big Cry

£2k per month depreciation (37%) is ridiculous for this model, purporting to be globally the best of its type.

Perhaps they know something the rest of us don't regarding longer term reliability?

Anyway, my thoughts are now to look at something else such as another dealer, or better still another manufacturer.

I consider the depreciation to be too high given 11 months waiting for delivery and a shed load of problems during ownership.

Could it be the 'shed load' is the reason for rubbish residuals?

So much for customer care and brand loyalty. LR continuous customer since 1977.

PS Should add excellent condition and covered 15k miles.

People who buy premium vehicles want new ones, so they always depreciate a lot. It's not that the L405 is bad. It's just the nature of the beast.
