His fame hasn't travelled this far, so I have no idea who Chris Evans is. Frankly I'm more interested in what the old trio and their producer might come up with. Whistle
We could end up with 'Real Top Gear' that doesn't have JC etc and isn't really TG and 'Not Top Gear' which actually has the original gang and really IS TG. Funny old world.

There's so much ridiculousness on social media right now - people saying that TG is dead to them without Clarkson etc. Get a life! It's just a TV show, they'll go on to do something of their own, probably just the specials and trips they always did, and we shall have a revamped Top Gear run by someone who is mad passionate about cars and has a garage full of Fezzas and weird stuff to prove it.

Phillip Glenister is a great actor, but so dry and laconic, too sarcastic for a presenting role IMHO, Evans has the cash to do crazy stuff out of his own pocket too and probably will. He's the Golden Child, the Man with the Midas Touch, so the Beed will be more likely to let him do what he wants and make TG different and special again.

I can't wait!

Looks like I need to get a life as my opinion Top Gear isn't the show it was without the three old presenters but this is just my opinion Rolling with laughter Current : 4.2 S/C, now Sold Sad
Previous : V70 Volvo, S40 Volvo ( a very reliable old banger ), E39 M5, Carlton Diplomat and the list goes on Smile

Life Sucks but ya just have to do the best you can with what you have !

Join Amazon and pay £79 a year to be a prime member .... that way you watch certain streaming programmes and films for a year ....(mostly pish) and if you order anything off Amazon it entitles you to next day delivery ... and of course Amazon's new streaming music service to take on Spotify and Apple music ... Thumbs Up

Well I wouldn't but BT does so there you go . Tried everything over the years but too remote for BT, only 22 miles from Glasgow but only 5 farms in a 4 mile radius so not worth their while, maybe I am not really missing out Thumbs Up
