U0400 fault code

Anyone know what the following fault code relates to? It keeps reappearing and in all my searching I cant find out what it represents and what might be causing it. My iidtool says the following:

'U0400-68 (2F) Invalid data received (event diagnostic trouble code) - Algorithm based failure - event information'

I exchanged emails with GAP to see if they could shed any light on it and they said that unless there is a real issue with the specific system, U type faults should be ignored. Given that at present I don't appear to have any noticeable problem with the instrument pack I guess ignoring it is the solution!

I think they just mean the computer has flagged up an anomaly, which might have only lasted a fraction of a second. You could spend weeks trying to clean up connections and earths, then find it doesn't reappear without really knowing what it was causing the problem.

Hence just ignore it unless an obvious problem arises with something else.
