5.0 S/C "Restricted Performance"

Morning!

Great. This Monday didn't start very well. Yellow engine warning light on both my Mercedes GLK350 -13 and now on my RR 5.0 S/C. Now I hate it that Mercedes only has two years warranty. Smile

Aaaanyways...

Restricted Performance on a 5.0 S/C is there a common cause for this? I know it can be anything but any particular issues with these cars causing this?

The car has been towed to a main dealer and they'll get back to me when they have checked the fault codes. Range Rover SV Autobiography LWB 5.0 S/C -17

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

I've had i t twice. Once on a 4.2 S/C Jag and once on a FFRR 5.0 S/C. Both were related to the throttle body and were well known and documented.

It turned out it was a cam axel sensor, crankshaft sensor?, giving a faulty reading.

1250 GBP for a service, oil change in transfer case, air filter change for the ventilated seats and a new sensor. Range Rover SV Autobiography LWB 5.0 S/C -17
