My 55 Reg 4.2 V8 SC makes an odd noise when I turn off the ignition. This is a long (few seconds) soft groaning farty type noise. should I be worried? Other wise all is fine with the Car and I just love it |

My 07 used to do this. It was one of the heater flaps closing apparently, something that happens when the blend motors park themselves. Took the dealer a couple of hours to fix it. If it sounds like it's coming from behind the dash it could be the same thing. Not terminal but rather irritating |

Blend motors control the heater flaps so the climate control works automatically. |

they open and close flaps to mix, 'blend' heated air with cold air to control the temperature in the car. |
