Land cruiser what a mare

Some Doris can't use the brakes oh her car so fatty goes in to have a rear sensor replaced and the bumper painted under insurance so they give me a Landcruiser best thing they ever did what a disappointment and reconfirmed that I am through and through a RR man - so some good came of it. Also swmbo is happy fatty is back as she was fed up with me complaining about the Toyota Mr. Green

They have always struck me as massively overpriced for such an agricultural old Hector but what in particular didn't you like ? 2008 MY Supercharged

four zone climate
remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

We had a 2001 model in Nigeria, imported from the UAE and I hated it apart from the big amount of space and that is was white (helps a lot in Nigerian heat). But it was much less realiable than the FFRR despite being well cared for and serviced regularly. AC kept going, suspension and steering kept having issues, fuel system from time to time, gear linkage went, windows (motor/mechanism) kept breaking.

And it is NOT comfortabel, like the FFRR (I compare it to the 4.2 of course).

They have reputation that may be well deserved re. reliability but ours was just a bad one. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

To be honest it was agricultural as you say it was very sluggish and just plasticky. I was very disappointed I thought it was going to make me want one but nope the brakes were very good but thats it I set the sat nav and couldn't put it off the whole system was clunky and the seats were plastic I think not sure if they were meant to be leather but not nice.

It does seem the early amazon ( 100 series) where problematic but the face lift where better, nicer dash too. My cruiser a 96 lc 80 series (petrol) had no issues, no air suspension for a start , but always did what it asked for, towing a landy 90 all over the country with family and no faults.
I sold her on and had 225000 miles, would of kept it if it wasn't for the tin worm starting to take over.

Full fats have issues too....I know of one, not mine. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Kenya 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

Think they are a different breed to the FFRR - personally I wouldn't compare them.

I have a 2004 Amazon and I love it. I've taken it far throughout Kenya and it has been comfortable, loads of power, roomy and a great pleasure to drive. I agree it's a little agricultural, quite noisy and like driving a boat, but that's what I expect it to be. Yes it has a few problems now and then, but again it's a 10 year old car so can't complain.

It has a different purpose to my FFRR and both equally favourite in my garage (and now the forum can stone me... Rolling with laughter ) MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"
