The Rangie's Replacement

As some of you may have noticed my lovely Range Rover is up for sale.... so I thought I'd post a few snaps of it's replacement a BMW 640d M Sport in Alpine White with some options, including a panoramic glass sunroof Thumbs Up

It's a very different animal (which is what I wanted), extremely quick and will do an alleged 51mpg (apparently 40 - 45 real world). I collect it from the BMW dealership at the end of the month Cool

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White
Gone: Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue, Zambezi Silver, Charcoal Oxford Leather
Also: Mk1 Audi TT 1.8T Quattro, Brilliant Black

Yep, they're nice motors. I was looking at a 5 Series GT for a while. Well appointed inside too.

^ funnily enough I saw one of these at Dublin Airport marked up as a VIP car.

Looked rather classy in black. Bit different to the regular 5 series and their pretty fearsome depreciation makes for a decent 2nd hand buy. Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

MPG, really Question
Had an X5 and it was a country mile of their claimed figures. Had the dealer take in and check, was massively Censored as at the time that swung me from my FFRR I traded in, never again.
Check Honest John and you will be nearer 38 mpg Sad Porsche 993 Targa, Buick Skylark Convertable 1968

I love everything about that car apart from the ride the run flat tyres provide .

/\

I'd happily have an M5 - great car Thumbs Up

I think the new M4 looks really sharp and perhaps makes M6 look a bit "flabby" Whistle

Thanks for the comments Surprised The car is beautifully finished inside full leather dash, all leather doors, centre console etc - bit like the FFRR Autobiography spec and one of the things that I liked about the car

RE the MPG the reviews seem to demonstrate 40 - 45 mpg on average which is good enough for me coming from a petrol FFRR that does 17mpg Thumbs Up Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

Very smart looking car. nice colour combo too.

(SWMBO has a 645 conv in black and its a pig to keep clean). Like your pano roof. makes a lot of difference to the inside which I think can feel a little cramped especially with the black liner of the rag top.

I assume if it's the 645 it's the previous generation, older shape 6 series? I had looked at the old model many moons ago and space wise the new model is much more spacious internally Thumbs Up Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White
