RSE screen problem, why is left screen darker than the right

Hello, my left screen suddently went alot darke than the left one witch is as bright as new.
Other than beeing dim it works as it should, I did a search and learned that the video are supplied via fiber optics, I take it there might be a connector some place that needs to be put back together properly but where should I start looking?
Or could it be something else?
Any help is deeply appreciated Smile 2010MY TDV8 Vogue Nara bronze / Arabica, Ivory. VW Amarok 2013 180 auto

If both screens still work but one is darker than the other then it might be that the back light has failed in one of them. LCD screens are basically a transparent display, with a lamp behind them to make them bright enough to see. In modern screens it's an LED in older ones it's basically a fluorescent tube.

The fibre optics supply the data to the screen, so if the cable is faulty the screen will just not work at all.

Seabass,

Inside the boot on the left, where your satnav sits (behind the cover) there is your RSE ECU (furthest away from you, looks like its installed sat upright (or vertically) unlike everything else thats installed horizontally) Unplug everything and check for green plugs (water ingress) making sure everything is plugged in correctly...

If that does not help!

Take the back off the seat and remove the black RSE plug under the headrest. Then follow that cable to the underside of the seat and unplug it. Swap the two cables from OS to NS and if the problem moves then its that “problematic cable” issue...
