Got me a different courtesy car....

New Freelander (Disco Sport) Rolling Eyes

I have to say as a brand spank car (11 miles) i was a bit excited by it, there was a squeak from the dashboard to start with which was cured by turning up the radio, which is actually quite good, has bluetooth connectivity so will play songs directly form my phone.

it is quite nice inside, switchgear is quite fiddly and small though it has a nice feel to it, i like the heater fan controls they feel very nice and have the temp in the middle of them, they just look good. The seats are pretty comfy too and it has the 7 seats which are useful, though with the rear seats up the boot disappears.

To drive it is a freelander.....which is no bad thing, steers well, the (about to be replaced) engine, pulls well and is pretty quiet, quieter than my 3.6 at lower revs tbh. The one they have given me is a manual, which is wrong in this type of car imho, it needs an auto, but apparently some one had crashed that one.....

going to try to get swmbo excited by it and get her one, doubt she will like it though, likes her skoda too much and i fear we are stuck with it until it dies....[/url] There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Not fully sold on the outside, and it is a bit pricey for the top of the line ones, but nice none the less. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I like it. In a few years when the kids don't want to join us in the tin tent we'll downsize to a single axle and a smaller car. This (and a few non LR brands) will be in the list to look at. Still rather like to see LAND ROVER on the bonnet and boot but that's a minor detail Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

NB, it no longer says Land Rover on the boot and bonnet........Says DISCOVERY...... Rolling Eyes

Thats my kind of plan too. Though will probably keep this FF until it irreparably dies, our tin tent is too heavy for a freelander or disco sport, its nice and easy on the FF but would be tricky on the back of a smaller car even though it would be in the weight limits, as it has been up plated to 1900kg, and is mostly full all of the time, it would be lively to tow, whereas the FF, i would like to say you don't know its there but that would be a fib, it is just relaxed.....

A smaller single axle van which could be towed by swmbos car would be ideal, leaving me free to downgrade to a porsche or something faster....... Whistle (he writes whilst awaiting Speed awareness course) There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
