I have the 2010 MY but don't think there is any difference between MYs.

ps. If there is a risk of fire then it's surely a warranty recall for LR.... For all vehicles fitted with them. Ash

That sounds like deception to me, if it was a service item wouldn't it be listed on the service sheets? IF it isn't a service item (they state fire risk so surely a warranty item?) & they try to charge you for unnecessary work would it not fall under below from trading standards?

see crags post in the thread mentioned above, it refers to a filter in the heated and cooled seats, this requires changing as part of the service schedule, maybe that is what they are referring to, and not the element itself. Worth checking. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Those fires are more likely to be the loom rubbing on the seat chassis Miggit... Happens a lot ( i meant, The loom rubbing through, rather than fires) |
