Hi All,

I'm really keen to replace the walnut in my 2002 L322 Td6 with high gloss piano black.

I did this in my Discovery 2 quite easily by stripping out the walnut parts, having them resprayed, and then refitting. However it doesn't appear to be that easy to remove all the walnut trim (the pieces either side of the sat nav screen appear to require the dashboard to be removed?).

Any tips on how best to approach this?

You only have to take the top off the dash to do it, and to do that you have to take the side bits of wood with vents in off... see this thread for how to....
