Suspension not lifting on my L322

Hi Guys I need some advice please.
My L322 has some problem with the suspension not lifting. I believe its some type of electrical glitch. The height adjustment switch illuminates in the normal way. When you start the car, on the dash it comes up with "suspension fault". After driving the vehicle for approx 2/3 minutes it comes up on the dash with "Vehicle lifting slowly". It doesnt lift at all and has stayed in the low position.
The vehicle appears level when parked, not leaning to the right or left. Any help to get me started would be appreciated

Use the search function, loads of posts about that....

Chances are it's the pump... but it needs checking... Pete
