It's just screwed onto the metal frame of the step with about 10 screws.

All the screws on mine are corroded and the Philips head just crumbles and falls away...... Have left mine as is.......

Yeah my screw heads were us as well. Ended up breaking bits away with plies and then undoing the screws with mole grips. All in all still only took about 10 min.

Just did a quick search for VUB001300 the Britpart ones are about £5 cheaper. Chances are they're the same manufacturer.

If you go over the top faster the front wheels will be in the air and your sidesteps will be fine........
