Mine wouldn't stay shut a couple of weeks ago... turned out a pound had dropped into it while it was opened stopping it from shutting enough to lock..

I had this problem. I bought some felt pads and stuck on the side to keep it closed and recently, I've been lucky enough to have a brand new one bought for me by the owner I bought the vehicle off originally. |
