@supershuttle.

£200, that's cheap, even with the £150 for the missus and extra car it's still cheap.
I paid £300 for our TD6 for me and the wife, no third party insurance to drive anything else.

I think there are disclosure rules in place, if they ask you have to tell them but if not then there is no obligation to mention it.

Swiftcover was quite pragmatic about it a few years back and their boss was on the record as saying that they didn't pay any attention the first speeding offence in any case...... Rolling Eyes Will wait and see at renewal.

Admiral are quite renowned for putting SAC in the same class as points.

Have looked into this a bit as i got nicked in bournemouth by a camera, at 49 in 40, and to be honest i thought it was a 50 zone, hence the 49..... My fault, though it was badly signposted and am pretty sure the sign immediately prior to the camera was painted out, though i have no proof of this and i am in Derby and the camera is in Bournemouth. hacked off to say the least. Have sent back the forms as can't be bothered to contest, as i have a clean licence, and no proof that there was anything wrong with the signage. Others have commented on it online.

PITA is that Dorset police aren't part of the national scheme for SACs and therefore i can't undertake the course anywhere else. There is a national register so that you don't get 2 bites at the cherry as it were, and as Dorset aren't part of that i should in theory get the opportunity to attend a course elsewhere should i be unlucky enough to get nicked again! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

You don't have to tell insurance companies anything but if they ask a specific question then you need to be honest.

NMJ, take a look at www.pepipoo.com - you might find some help there. Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 SC
