Stan put something in another thread recently. I believe it was a lever inside the newer headlights but can't remember for sure. Maybe he can help you find the thread

There is also a change in one of he menus to get the auto dip working for the other side of the road.

A tip i can pass on from doing this regularly on my X-Type. If you forget which way the lever goes. Put the lights on when you do it and stand in front of the beam while you operate the lever.
