Popped into the local Dealer to order a new L405..... yeah I wish... to get a filter for the gearbox and saw this.....



They now leave the lights on all the time so the batteries are knackered before we even get them...!!!!

And before anyone asks, it's the first time I've been in there, I usually get the bits from Dan, but I left it too late to get one sent.....

I did notice that the MD in Lewes, Sussex when I was in there in February had floor sockets beside each car and they were plugged into them. Saves the batteries! John

Yep, you could obviously see that all the cars were plugged in, trailing leads all over....

Whilst waiting for the parts man I was chatting to the attractive lady on reception and I did pass comment on the lack of ambiance, well I actually said it looked boring and unimaginative, she said that they are a flagship dealer and this is how Land Rover have stated they want it...!!!! It really is like walking into a warehouse to buy a car, no use of colour or texture, boring lines of cars.... You do have to wonder what Land Rover were thinking, Merc and Lexus who are close by look far more enticing....

Maybe they have worked out that Land Rovers sell themselves and they don't need curb appeal.... Pete
